The following project was part of a housing building competition in Amsterdam Lelylaan progressed mainly by a team of three architects led by Group A director - Adam Visser. Collaboration with Xander van Dijk and Hala Abi Saad. My precise role within this project was to design and BIM model the building ( Revit ) to produce architectural material for the competition. Unfortunatelly, we were 2nd place, we congratulate the winners.

Thought to offer an innovative commercial space for the Lelylaan blooming quarter, Kavel E’s plinth is wrapped with elegant glassed curtain walls to invite local shops to naturally pop-up. This double-high spaces ideally function for a restaurant-cafés and young maker’s studios.

MAIN FLOORPLANS
Sloped balconies open towards the urban garden in the back facade to enhance social interaction within the neighborhood.
The inclined elevation aims to penatrate sunlight on the south facade so apartments would have better natural lighting.
Besides, every house get a little garden with a tree, giving the user identity and a sense of care to the natural environment.
